The straw feels ok to drink through and is better than throwing away plastic ones.
The only problem I found with them was that they are slightly too long as the cleaning brush doesn't fit right through them, this problem was solved by cutting them a little bit shorter with a pair of scissors.

These are pretty great in that as silicone, my toddler can bend and chew them any direction he wants without stopping the flow and they are easy to clean. I just wish they were a little smaller in diameter - they are pretty thick straws and it was a hard learning curve for a child who's primary straw experience has been the tiny juice box straws...

We ordered the regular bended straws and my grandson loves them. And he is very happy to be doing something for the environment! The straws are lovely bright colours and easy to clean. We will be taking them with us when we travel and use them in restaurants as much as possible. They come in a nice black storage bag with a cleaning brush. Easy peasy!

Having tried metal and glass straws, these straws felt like the perfect substitute to plastic straws as I'm able to press them flat, reducing the risk of the liquid flowing back to the teeth. Great straws I love them and they are very easy to clean with the brush included. The colors are nice and have no smell. I use them mostly to drink smoothies, so I wish there were wider straws available, but they work ok, just the unblended fruits will not go through them. fast shipping, also.
